Who Are YOUNG POSSE? Meet the Hip-Hop Girl Group Landing in Europe for the First Time
On October 25, YOUNG POSSE (영파씨) kick off PILOT3: 2026 The 1st Flight to Europe, their first European tour. Five cities, five venues, and a group that has built its identity on old-school hip-hop rather than the usual K-pop formula. If the name is new to you, here is what to know before they land.
A hip-hop girl group, by DSP Media
YOUNG POSSE debuted on October 18, 2023 under DSP Media, in partnership with Beats Entertainment. They made their entrance with the EP Macaroni Cheese, whose title track is a playful rap about making mac and cheese. Since then, the quintet has stood out for boom-bap and old-school influences, and all five members have taken part in songwriting since debut. Their fandom is called TELEPOSSE.
The members
- Sunhye (선혜): Leader, born April 12, 2004
- Yeonjung (연정): Main dancer, born September 1, 2004
- Jiana (지아나): Main vocalist, born February 2, 2006
- Doeun (도은): Lead rapper, born December 24, 2007

Their story so far
After Macaroni Cheese, YOUNG POSSE broke through with the EP XXL in March 2024, named after their hope of performing on ever bigger stages. Its title track remains one of their most recognizable songs, and the EP features BM of KARD, a DSP Media senior, on “DND”. They then crossed the Atlantic for their first North American tour in 2024, and their EP Ate That climbed to the top of iTunes’ K-pop album chart.
Their rise was recognized at the 2025 D Awards, where they won both Discovery of the Year and the D Awards Dreams Silver Label.
The group kept evolving with Growing Pain pt. 1: FREE in August 2025, the single “Lose Your Shxt” with Chinese rapper Benzo in January 2026, and their first mixtape, young tape, released on July 13, 2026 to mark their 1,000th day since debut.
Their latest release is the digital single “GOhae”, out on October 7.
